Born in Manhattan, New York, contemporary sculptor Christopher Ross has earned an international reputation for his animal wearable fine art and portrait sculpture. His iconic work has been featured in numerous international magazines and was recently on view at Yale University Art Gallery and Newark Museum of Art. Exhibitions include: New York's Museum of Natural History, The Kruger Gallery, The Public Library on Fifth Ave., New York; Virginia Museum of Fine Arts; Art Basel Miami; Vendôme Luxury, Brickworld, Paris, France; Cube Design Museum, NL; Mood Design Museum, Como, Italy and The Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh. Public Collections include: The Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, Russia; The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City; The National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh; Palais Galliera, Paris, France; Yale University Art Gallery and MFA Boston Museum of Fine Arts. In 2016, he was made Hon. Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) for having established exceptionally high achievement in the arts, and was officially selected artist for the annual summer exhibition of the Royal Scottish Academy of Art and Architecture in Edinburgh.
